Pan-Seared Quesadilla with Mushrooms
A twist on the classic quesadilla, featuring sautéed mushrooms and a crispy crust.
Ingredients
- ●1 2 quick flour tortillasany type of flour tortilla works
- ●1 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- ●1/4 1/4 cup shredded cheesecheddar or Monterey Jack work well
- ●1/4 1/4 cup chopped onion
- ●2 2 cloves garlicminced
- ●1 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Place one of the tortillas in the skillet and sprinkle with cheese.

Add the mushroom mixture on half of the tortilla, then fold the tortilla in half.

Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted.

Flip the quesadilla and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the other side is also crispy.

Repeat with the remaining tortilla and filling.

Cut the quesadillas into wedges and serve hot.
