Turkish Chicken Dumplings
A flavorful and comforting Turkish-inspired dish featuring chicken and dumplings served with a side of queso.
Ingredients
- β1 lb chicken breastboneless and skinless
- β2 cups all-purpose flourgluten-free alternative recommended
- β1 package turkish dumpling mixavailable at most middle eastern markets
- β1 cup quesomelted
- β2 cups waterfor dumpling mix
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken breast, flour, queso, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

2. Add the water to the bowl and mix until the dough comes together.

3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.

5. Roll each piece into a ball and flatten it slightly into a disk shape.

6. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil.

7. Add the dumplings to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

8. Add 2 cups of water to the skillet and bring to a boil.

9. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the dumplings for 10-12 minutes, until they are cooked through.
