Silky Chicken Nimono
A tender and flavorful Japanese-inspired dish featuring silky chicken in a rich nimono sauce. Perfect for a comforting dinner.

- β4 Aussie chicken breastsBoneless and skinless
- β2 tbsp Australian silky soy sauceor regular soy sauce
- β4 cups Nimono dashi brothor chicken broth
- β2 tbsp Quenched sakeoptional
- β1 bunch Green onionschopped, for garnish
- β2 inches Gingersliced
- β3 cloves Garlicminced

1. In a large pot, combine dashi broth, soy sauce, sake (if using), sliced ginger, and minced garlic.

2. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.

3. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes.

4. Add the chicken breasts to the pot and cook for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.

5. Remove the chicken from the pot and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

6. Strain the sauce through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean saucepan, discarding the solids.
