Venezuelan Empanada Jam Filling
A delicious and sweet filling for empanadas using a traditional venezuelan jam.
Ingredients
- ●1/2 cup Venezuelan jam
- ●1/4 cup Molten chocolate chips
- ●2 tablespoons Quenched heavy cream
- ●1 package Empanada dough
- ●1 tablespoon Confectioners' sugar

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Roll out empanada dough to 1/4 inch thickness.

3. Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

4. In a small bowl, mix together Venezuelan jam, molten chocolate chips, and quenched heavy cream.

5. Place a spoonful of the jam mixture onto one half of the dough circle.

6. Fold the other half of the dough circle over the filling to form a half-circle, pressing the edges to seal.

7. Brush the tops of the empanadas with confectioners' sugar.

8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
