Mexican Pork Dumplings
A unique twist on traditional dumplings, filled with tender pork and spices, served with a side of salsa and cilantro.
Ingredients
- β1 pound porkground pork
- β1 package dumplingshomemade or store-bought
- β2 teaspoons chinesefive-spice powder
- β1 teaspoon quaintcumin
- β1/4 cup silkysriracha sauce
- β1/2 teaspoon salt
- β1/4 teaspoon pepper
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oil

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, five-spice powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well until just combined.

Add sriracha sauce and mix until the pork is well coated.

Place a tablespoon of the pork mixture onto the center of a dumpling wrapper.

Dip your finger in water and run it along the edges of the wrapper.

Fold the wrapper into a triangle, pressing the edges together to seal the dumpling.

Repeat with the remaining pork mixture and dumpling wrappers.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the dumplings to the skillet, being careful not to overcrowd.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the dumplings are golden brown.

Serve the dumplings with your favorite salsa and a sprinkle of cilantro.
