British Beef and Tomato Stew
A hearty and comforting stew made with beef and fresh tomatoes, inspired by British cuisine.
Ingredients
- β1 pound chopped beef (1 pound)cut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 cups chopped tomatoes (2 cups)fresh or canned
- β1 medium silky onions (1 medium)chopped
- β3 cloves pungent garlic (3 cloves)minced
- β4 cups dish broth (4 cups)beef or vegetable broth
- β1 cup british ale (1 cup)optional

- β pepperto taste
Instructions

Heat the dish in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.

Add the chopped onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes, broth, and ale (if using).
