Plum Dumplings with Spicy Dipping Sauce
A sweet and spicy twist on traditional Mexican dumplings, served with a tangy dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- β200g Dum
- β4 Plum
- β1 tsp Dashor to taste
- β1 cup Water
- β2 tbsp Sugar
- β1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Combine plums, sugar, cinnamon, and dash in a saucepan.

Cook over medium heat until the plums are tender.

Roll out dum dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.

Cut the dough into circles of 3-4 inches in diameter.

Place a spoonful of plum mixture onto the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal.

Boil the dumplings in a large pot of water for 10-15 minutes, or until they float to the surface.

Serve the plum dumplings hot with a side of spicy dipping sauce (optional).

To make the dipping sauce, combine 1/2 cup of water with 1-2 dashes of dash in a saucepan.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
