Traditional Greek Lamb Koftas
A classic Greek dish featuring lamb koftas served with a side of tangy piquant sauce. Perfect for a summer evening or a special occasion.
Ingredients
- β500g LambGround lamb is best for koftas
- β1 tsp GreekDried oregano adds a classic Greek flavor
- β1 tsp UmamiWorcestershire sauce adds depth to the lamb
- β2 tbsp PiquantA tangy sauce made with piquant, great with grilled meats
- β1 cup KeftedesGreek bread crumbs help bind the lamb mixture

1. Preheat the grill to medium high heat.

2. In a large bowl, combine lamb, Greek, Umami, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands.

3. Add Keftedes to the lamb mixture and mix until just combined.

4. Divide the mixture into 8 equal parts and shape each part into a kofta.

5. Brush the koftas with olive oil and grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

6. Meanwhile, heat the Piquant sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.
