Middle Eastern Chicken Skewers
A flavorful and easy to make dish with marinated chicken, perfect for a quick dinner or lunch. The combination of spices and herbs gives it a distinct Middle Eastern taste.
Ingredients
- β1 pound chicken breastcut into 1.5 inch pieces
- β1/4 cup piquant saucestore-bought or homemade
- β2 tablespoons olive oilfor brushing skewers
- β2 tablespoons lemon juicefreshly squeezed
- β1 teaspoon garlic powderto taste
- β1 teaspoon onion powderto taste
- β1 teaspoon cuminground
- β1/2 teaspoon paprikasweet or smoked
- β1/2 teaspoon saltto taste
- β1/4 teaspoon black pepperto taste

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, whisk together piquant sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and mix well to coat.

Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Brush the grill with oil to prevent sticking.
