Stir Fry Beef
A classic Chinese dish with tender beef and crunchy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef (sirloin), sliced1-inch pieces
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oilor stir-fry oil
- β1 teaspoon Peppercornswhole
- β1-inch piece Ginger, slicedoptional
- β1 medium Onion, slicedthinly sliced
- β1 medium Bell pepper, slicedany color
- β1 cup Snow peas, trimmedfresh
Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together beef and peppercorns.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Add the ginger and onion and cook until the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the bell pepper and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the snow peas and cook until tender, about 2-3 minutes.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the beef is cooked through.
