Pan-Seared Cod with Turkish Spices
A flavorful and easy-to-make Chinese-inspired dish featuring pan-seared cod with a blend of Turkish spices.
Ingredients
- β4 cod filletsFresh and sustainable
- β1 tsp pepperyGround black pepper
- β1/4 tsp nutmegGround nutmeg
- β2 tsp turkishTurkish spice blend
- β2 tbsp oilVegetable oil or peanut oil
- β1 cup stir-fryMixed stir-fry vegetables

1. Preheat a non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

2. Season the cod fillets with black pepper, nutmeg, and Turkish spice blend.

3. Add oil to the preheated skillet and swirl it around.

4. Add the cod fillets, skin side up (if they have skin).

5. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the skin is golden brown.

6. Flip the cod fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through.

8. In the same skillet, add the mixed stir-fry vegetables and cook until tender.
