Classic British Peach Pie
A traditional British dessert featuring peaches in a sweet and flaky pie crust. Perfect for warm summer days or as a comforting treat any time of the year.
Ingredients
- ●4 ripe peaches, sliced Peaches
- ●1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed Peppery Pastry Dough
- ●1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
- ●2 tbsp for dusting Mash
- ●1 egg, beaten (for egg wash) Egg

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the puff pastry dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Place the sliced peaches in the center of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Dust the peaches with a little mash and sprinkle with brown sugar.

Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg for a golden glaze.

Fold the dough over the peaches to form a pie crust, pressing the edges to seal.

Cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.

Brush the top crust with the remaining egg wash.

Place the pie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
