Slovakian Stew
A hearty, comforting stew originating from Slovakia, made with tender beef, potatoes, and a blend of spices.
Ingredients

- ●2 large peppery potatoes
- ●2 teaspoons curry powder
- ●1 pound slovakian sausage
- ●1 large onion
- ●3 cloves garlic
- ●1 teaspoon caraway seeds
Instructions

Brown the beef in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Remove the browned beef from the pot and set aside.

Add more oil to the pot if needed, then sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the potatoes, curry powder, caraway seeds, and browned beef to the pot.

Pour in enough beef broth to cover the ingredients, then bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 1 1/2 hours, or until the potatoes and meat are tender.
