Jamaican Chicken Wrap
A flavorful and spicy Jamaican-inspired wrap filled with roasted chicken, onions, and bell peppers.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Chicken breastBoneless and skinless
- ●2 tablespoons Olive oil
- ●2 teaspoons Jamaican jerk seasoning
- ●1 medium Onion
- ●1 medium Bell pepper
- ●1 large Tortilla wrap
- ●1/4 cup Shredded cheese
- ●2 tablespoons Chopped fresh cilantro
- ●2 tablespoons Sour cream

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, Jamaican jerk seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Place the chicken breast in a shallow dish and brush the jerk seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.

Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the chicken is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Once the chicken is done, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly.

Warm the tortilla wrap by wrapping it in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

Assemble the wrap by spreading a tablespoon of sour cream on the tortilla, followed by a few slices of the roasted chicken, some sautéed onion and bell pepper, and finally some shredded cheese and chopped cilantro.
