Wild Garlic and Ocean Bouillabaisse
A hearty, flavorful, and aromatic French bouillabaisse recipe featuring wild garlic and the richness of the ocean. Perfect for a dinner gathering.
Ingredients
- ●2 bunches Wild garlicFreshly picked
- ●2 pounds French mussels
- ●2 fillets Wild-caught sea bassFresh
- ●1/4 cup Olive oil
- ●1 cup White wine
- ●2 cups Fishing broth
- ●4 cloves Garlic
- ●2 Roasted red peppers
- ●1/2 cup Bouillabaisse rouille

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Rinse the mussels under cold water and remove any broken shells.

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the mussels, sea bass, white wine, and fishing broth to the pot. Stir to combine.

Transfer the pot to the preheated oven and roast for 8-10 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.

Remove the pot from the oven and stir in the roasted red peppers and bouillabaisse rouille.

Add the wild garlic to the pot and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until wilted.

Serve the bouillabaisse hot, garnished with additional wild garlic if desired.

Remove the fish from the pot and serve on top of the bouillabaisse.

Season the bouillabaisse with salt and pepper to taste.
