Spanish Turkey Mince Catalana
A hearty Spanish-inspired dish featuring ground turkey, roasted flavors, and a creamy twist.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Turkey Mincepreferably 80/20 lean to fat ratio
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- β1 medium Oniondiced
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 Roasted Red Pepperdiced
- β1/4 cup Catalana Saucesee below for recipe
- β1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the ground turkey mince and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the diced roasted red pepper and cook for an additional minute.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through.

While the turkey cooks, prepare the Catalana sauce (see below for recipe).

Once the turkey is cooked, remove the skillet from the oven and stir in the Catalana sauce.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
