Japanese Chickpea Casserole
A unique Japanese-inspired casserole featuring chickpeas, a blend of Italian seasonings, and a touch of creamy oozing goodness.
Ingredients

- ●1 tsp italian seasoning
- ●1/4 cup oozingmay be replaced with melted mozzarella cheese
- ●2 tbsp cooking oil
- ●1/4 cup green onionschopped
- ●2 tbsp soy sauce
- ●1 tsp sugar
- ●1 tsp rice vinegar
- ●1 cup ricecooked
- ●1 (9x13 inch) dish casserole

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine chickpeas, Italian seasoning, and soy sauce.

In a separate pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped green onions and sauté for 1-2 minutes until softened.

Add the oozing and stir until melted.

Combine the chickpea mixture and the green onion mixture in the mixing bowl.

Stir in the cooked rice and sugar.
