French Tofu Galette
A French-inspired vegan dish made with crispy tofu and oozing galette, perfect for a light dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 block Extra-firm tofuPress and drain excess water
- β1 package GaletteThawed and oozing
- β2 sprigs Fresh thymeChopped
- β1 tsp Garlic powderOptional
- β1 tsp SaltTo taste
- β1/2 tsp Black pepperTo taste
- β2 tbsp Olive oilFor brushing

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Press and drain excess water from the tofu.

Cut the tofu into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes.

In a shallow dish, mix together thyme, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Coat the tofu cubes with the herb mixture, shaking off excess.

Brush the galette with olive oil on both sides.

Place the tofu cubes on one half of the galette, leaving a 1-inch (2.5 cm) border.

Fold the other half of the galette over the tofu, pressing gently to seal.

Brush the top of the galette with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
