Venezuelan-Style Pabellon Sandwich
A flavorful sandwich inspired by Venezuelan cuisine, featuring crispy bread, seasoned beef, and melted cheese.

- β2 tbsp Oily or vegetable oilfor frying the beef
- β4 slices Breadpreferably a crusty bread
- β2 cups Melted cheeseshredded cheese, such as mozzarella or queso fresco
- β2 Sliced plantainsoptional, but recommended for authenticity
- β1/4 cup Chopped cilantrofor garnish
- βto taste Salt and pepper
- β2 tsp Venezuelan-style seasoningavailable at Latin American grocery stores or online

Season the beef with salt, pepper, and Venezuelan-style seasoning.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside to rest.

Add the sliced plantains to the skillet and cook until they're caramelized and crispy, about 5 minutes.
