Middle Eastern Kiwifruit Tagine
A sweet and savory Middle Eastern-inspired tagine dish featuring roasted kiwifruit and spices.

- β2 tbsp honey
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β1 tsp ground cinnamon
- β1 tsp ground ginger
- β1 tsp ground cumin
- β1/4 tsp salt
- β1 cup water

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Peel and core the kiwifruit, and cut into 1-inch pieces.

In a large bowl, whisk together the honey, olive oil, cinnamon, ginger, cumin, and salt.

Add the kiwifruit pieces to the bowl and toss to coat with the spice mixture.

Transfer the kiwifruit mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Pour the water over the kiwifruit mixture.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the kiwifruit is tender.
