Pan-Fried Bao Dumplings
A classic Chinese dish made by pan-frying bao dumplings filled with a savory mixture of pork and vegetables.
Ingredients
- β12 Bao wrappers
- β1/4 cup Ground pork
- β1/4 cup Spring onions
- β2 tablespoons Ginger
- β1 clove Garlic
- β1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- β1/4 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- β1/2 cup Dumchopped

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, spring onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until just combined.

2. Lay a bao wrapper on a clean surface and place about 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.

3. Brush the edges of the wrapper with a little water.

4. Fold the wrapper into a triangle by bringing the two opposite corners together to form a point. Press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

5. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

6. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet and swirl it around to coat the bottom.

7. When the oil is hot, add the dumplings to the skillet, being careful not to overcrowd it.

8. Cook the dumplings for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and crispy.
