Pork and Ukrainian Dumplings
A hearty Ukrainian-inspired dish featuring pork and homemade dumplings.
Ingredients
- β1 pound porkground
- β2 cups all-purpose flourgluten-free flour can be substituted
- β1 cup soft flourfor dumpling wrappers
- β1/2 cup nuttywalnuts or hazelnuts work well
- β1 large egg
- β1/2 teaspoon salt
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepper

In a large bowl, combine pork, nutty, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour and soft flour. Mix well.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the pork mixture and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes and let rest for 10 minutes.

Divide the dough into small pieces and roll out each piece into a thin circle.

Place a tablespoon of water in the center of each circle and fold the dough over to form a dumpling.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat.

Add the dumplings to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
