Jamaican Sausage Skewers
Grilled sausage skewers with a Jamaican twist, featuring a spicy nutty glaze.
Ingredients
- β500g Jamaican sausagepreferably with a spicy flavor
- β200g nutty glaze (peanut butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder)adjust to taste

- β1 large onionchopped
- β2 large bell pepperchopped
- β1 small red onionsliced
- β200g pineapplechopped
- β100ml soy saucefor marinade
- β50g brown sugarfor marinade

1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a blender or food processor, blend the nutty glaze ingredients until smooth.

3. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce and brown sugar for the marinade.

4. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and pineapple to the marinade and mix well.

5. Thread the Jamaican sausage onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

6. Brush the nutty glaze onto the sausage, then place on the grill.

7. Cook the sausage for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 74Β°C.

8. Remove the sausage from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
