Norwegian Nutmeg Cookies
A traditional Norwegian cookie recipe infused with nutmeg and turmeric.
Ingredients

- β1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- β1 cup brown sugar
- β2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup butter
- β2 large eggs
- β1 cup (oat or almond crumble) crumbly
- β1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- β1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk together the flour, sugar, nutmeg, and turmeric in a large bowl.

Add the softened butter and mix until a dough forms.

Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the crumbly mixture and mix until a smooth dough forms.

Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness.
