Crisp Cassava Fries
A tasty and crunchy side dish made with cassava. Perfect for snacking or as a side to your favorite meal.
Ingredients

- ●1/2 cup vegetable oilfor frying
- ●1/4 teaspoon salt
- ●1/4 teaspoon pepper
- ●1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions

Peel the cassava and cut it into fry shapes.

Soak the cassava in water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F (180°C).

Carefully add the cassava fries to the hot oil in batches.

Fry the cassava fries for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove the fries from the oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
