Arroz con Pato alla Italiana
An Italian-inspired Peruvian dish, featuring succulent duck cooked with aromatic rice, herbs, and spices.
Ingredients

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the duck and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-6 minutes.

Add the chicken broth, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Add the uncooked rice to the skillet, stirring to coat with the broth mixture.

Reduce heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.
