North African-Style Brown Rice Paella
A flavorful and nutritious twist on traditional paella, made with brown rice and infused with the bold spices of North Africa.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Brown rice
- β2 tsp Dense moroccan spice blend
- β2 cups Nutrient-rich vegetable broth
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1 medium Chopped onion
- β1 medium Chopped bell pepper
- β1 medium Chopped tomato
- βto taste Salt
- βchopped, for garnish Fresh parsley
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan or skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chopped bell pepper and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.

Add the chopped tomato and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the brown rice, moroccan spice blend, and vegetable broth to the pan.

Stir to combine and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.
