Chili Nutella Tapenade Spring Rolls
A unique fusion of Chinese spring rolls with the flavors of Nutella and tapenade.
Ingredients
- β1 package Wonton wrappersusually found in the refrigerated section
- β1/4 cup Nutellafor filling
- β2 tbsp Tapenadefor filling
- β1/2 cup Cucumberfor filling
- β1/2 cup Carrotsfor filling
- β1/4 cup Green onionsfor garnish
- β1/2 cup Marinated tofufor filling
- β1/2 cup Vegetable oilfor frying
- β1 tbsp Olive oilfor frying

1. Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface.

2. Place a small amount of Nutella, tapenade, marinated tofu, cucumber, and carrots in the center of the wrapper.

3. Brush the edges of the wrapper with a small amount of water.

4. Fold the bottom half of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up the wrapper to form a tight cylinder.

5. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

6. Heat 1-2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

7. When the oil is hot, add a few of the spring rolls to the skillet and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

8. Remove the spring rolls from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

9. Serve the spring rolls hot with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of green onions.

10. Garnish with additional tapenade if desired.
