Korean Stir Fry
A spicy and savory Korean-inspired stir fry recipe made with peppers and a hint of numbing flavor. Ready in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- β1 cup peppersany color, sliced
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilfor stir-frying
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 tablespoon gingergrated
- β1 teaspoon numbingKorean chili flakes, or to taste
- β2 tablespoons soy saucefor marinating and stir-frying
- β1 tablespoon sesame oilfor finishing

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced peppers and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they start to soften.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and numbing flakes. Pour the mixture over the peppers and stir to coat.

Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the peppers are tender-crisp.

Stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and sesame oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
