Uruguayan Steak Empanadas with Japanese Twist

- β300g steak (ribeye)thinly sliced
- β2 cups all-purpose flourfor empanada dough
- β1 cup uruguayan cheese (queso fresco)shredded
- β2 tbsp japanese soy saucefor marinade
- β1 bunch green onionschopped
- β2 eggsfor empanada egg wash
- β1 tbsp olive oilfor brushing empanadas

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a bowl, whisk together flour, soy sauce, and egg. Mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes.

Divide dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll out each piece into a thin circle.

Place a tablespoon of steak, cheese, and green onions in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough in half and press edges to seal.
