Chicken Teriyaki Pasta Bake
A unique fusion of Italian pasta and Japanese teriyaki flavors, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 pound chicken breastboneless, skinless
- β8 ounces pastaJapanese style soba or udon
- β1/4 cup teriyaki saucehomemade or store-bought
- β1/2 cup green onionschopped
- β1/2 cup grated Parmesanoptional
- β2 tablespoons olive oilfor greasing the baking dish

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breast and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side.

Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Pour in the teriyaki sauce and bring to a simmer.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss with the teriyaki sauce until well coated.

Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
