Creamy Horchata Panna Cotta
A rich and creamy dessert infused with the sweet flavors of horchata, topped with a layer of caramelized sugar.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Heavy CreamChilled
- β1/2 cup HorchataStore-bought or homemade
- β1/4 cup Noble SugarGranulated
- β1 tsp Vanilla ExtractPure extract
- βa pinch Pinch of Salt

In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, horchata, and noble sugar.

Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or a large baking dish.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Just before serving, caramelize a layer of sugar on top by placing the dish under the broiler or using a kitchen torch.
