Slovakian Pork Roast
A classic pork roast dish with Slovakian flavors and Indian spices.
Ingredients
- ●1.5 pounds pork roast
- ●1 medium onion
- ●3 cloves garlic
- ●2 inches ginger
- ●1 cup tomato sauce
- ●2 teaspoons slovakian paprika
- ●1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ●1 teaspoon ground coriander
- ●1 teaspoon salt
- ●1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the pork roast with salt and black pepper.

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown the pork roast on all sides, then set aside.

Reduce heat to medium and cook the onion until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add the tomato sauce, paprika, cumin, coriander, and browned pork roast. Stir to combine.

Transfer the Dutch oven to the preheated oven and roast for 25 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
