Newfoundland-Style Nacho Hash
A twist on traditional nachos, this Newfoundland-Style Nacho Hash combines the flavors of the Canadian East Coast with the spicy kick of nachos. Perfect for a cozy dinner or snack.
Ingredients
- β1 medium-sized potato, peeled and grated hash brownsuse leftover hash browns or cook from scratch
- β1 cup, shredded nacho cheese
- β4 slices canadian baconor regular bacon, but Canadian bacon for a authentic touch
- β1/2 cup, flaked newfoundland salt fishor substitute with salmon or cod
- β1 medium onion, diced onions
- β2 cloves, minced garlic
- β1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Cook the Canadian bacon slices in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy.

Remove the cooked bacon and set aside.

Add the diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onions are translucent.
