Dutch-Style Myeolchi Pilaf
A flavorful Korean-inspired dish with mustardy twist, made with myeolchi, pilaf, and dutch influence.

Ingredients
- β2 cups myeolchi (dried pollock flakes)
- β1 cup pilaf ricepreferably a day-old rice
- β2 tsp dutch mustard
- β2 cups water
- β2 tbsp vegetable oil
- β1/4 cup green onionschopped

Instructions

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add myeolchi and stir-fry until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add pilaf rice and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add water, dutch mustard, and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 15-20 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.

Fluff the pilaf with a fork and garnish with chopped green onions.

Season with additional dutch mustard to taste.
