Ingredients
- β1 cup Vietnamese broken rice
- β1 Fried eggfried sunny-side up
- β1/4 cup Fried shallotsoptional
- β1/4 cup Pickled carrots and daikon
- β1/2 cup Fried tofu
- β2 tbsp Mustardy sauce
- β1 tsp Com tam seasoning
- β2 slices Tam (Vietnamese fermented pork sausage)optional or substitute with grilled pork

Instructions

Cook the broken rice according to package instructions.

Fry the shallots until crispy and set aside.

Fry the tofu until golden brown and set aside.

Prepare the pickled carrots and daikon.

Cook the Tam sausage until caramelized, then set aside.

Fry the egg sunny-side up.

Combine the cooked rice, fried tofu, pickled carrots and daikon, fried shallots, and Tam sausage on a plate.

Drizzle the Mustardy sauce on top.

Season with Com tam seasoning.
