Traditional Greek Loukoumades
Greek doughnuts deep-fried to perfection, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with cinnamon. These sweet treats are perfect for dessert or as a snack.
Ingredients
- ●500g Greek doughhomemade or store-bought
- ●1L Vegetable oilfor frying
- ●200g Honeyfor drizzling
- ●2 tsp Cinnamonfor sprinkling
- ●100g Powdered sugarfor dusting

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan to 180°C (350°F).

Carefully drop the dough into the hot oil using a spoon, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry the loukoumades for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the loukoumades from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Drizzle the loukoumades with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Dust the loukoumades with powdered sugar and serve warm.
