Spicy Tofu Fritters
Crispy fritters filled with spicy tofu and served with a side of sweet chili sauce. Perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 block tofudrained and crumbled
- β1/2 teaspoon mexicancumin
- β1 cup crispall-purpose flour
- β1/4 cup glazedhoney
- β1/4 cup churrosugar
- β1/4 cup fritterscornmeal
- β1/4 cup oilvegetable oil

Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

In a bowl, mix together crumbled tofu, cumin, and a pinch of salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, sugar, and a pinch of salt.

Add the dry ingredients to the tofu mixture and mix until just combined.

Using a spoon, drop small balls of the mixture into the hot oil.

Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fritters from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
