Pan-Seared Xiaolongbao with Miso-Glazed Beets
A twist on traditional Japanese steamed buns, served with a flavorful pan-seared xiaolongbao and a sweet miso-glazed beet accompaniment.

- ●2 beetsmedium
- ●2 tbsp miso
- ●1/4 cup glazedsugar-free

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Wrap the beets in foil and roast for 45 minutes, or until tender.

3. Meanwhile, pan-fry the xiaolongbao in a little oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

4. In a small saucepan, combine the miso and glazed. Heat over low heat, whisking until smooth.

5. To serve, place a pan-seared xiaolongbao on each plate, and top with a roasted beet half and a drizzle of the miso glaze.

6. Garnish with chopped scallions or sesame seeds, if desired.
