Spicy Korean Namul Salad
A simple and healthy Korean-style salad made with stir-fried namul and spicy kick.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Namul (Korean sesame leaf)
- β2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- β1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- β1 teaspoon Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Green onion
- β1 tablespoon Toasted sesame seeds
- βto taste Salt

1. Rinse the namul and pat dry with paper towels.

2. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat.

3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Add the namul and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted.

5. In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and gochugaru.

6. Pour the sauce over the namul and stir-fry for 1 minute.

7. Add the green onion and toasted sesame seeds, and stir-fry for another minute.

8. Season with salt to taste.
