Japanese Lamb Skewers
Grilled lamb skewers with a hint of smokiness, inspired by traditional Japanese flavors. Serve with steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Lamb shoulder, thinly slicedCut into 1-inch pieces
- β1/4 cup Mildly sweet soy sauce
- β2 tablespoons Smoked sesame oil
- β10-12 sticks Brazilian-style skewers
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- β2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped
- β1/4 cup Green onions, thinly sliced
- β2 cloves Garlic, minced
- β1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add lamb and toss to coat.

Thread lamb onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Brush skewers with sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Grill skewers for 8-10 minutes per side, or until lamb reaches an internal temperature of 145Β°F.
