Dutch Omelette
A classic Dutch omelette made with eggs and often served as a snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β2 large eggsFresh eggs are preferred
- β1 tablespoon milkOptional, for added moisture
Instructions

Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them together with a pinch of salt.

Add the milk and whisk until the eggs are smooth.

Heat a small non-stick pan over medium heat.

Add a small amount of butter or oil to the pan and let it melt.

Pour the egg mixture into the pan and let it cook for about 30 seconds.

Use a spatula to gently lift and fold the edges of the omelette towards the centre.

Continue cooking and folding the omelette until the eggs are almost set.

Use the spatula to carefully fold the omelette in half.

Cook for another 30 seconds to a minute, until the eggs are fully set.

Use the spatula to carefully slide the omelette out of the pan onto a plate.
