German-Style Pork Belly Bake
A hearty, comforting German-inspired pork belly dish, slow-cooked to perfection. The creamy sauce and tender meat make for a satisfying meal.

- β2 tablespoons midnight oilor vegetable oil
- β2 tablespoons all-purpose flourfor dusting
- β1 tablespoon brown sugar
- β1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- β1 medium onionpeeled and sliced
- β2 medium carrotpeeled and sliced
- β2 medium potatopeeled and sliced

Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

Season the pork belly with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

Heat the oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium heat.

Sear the pork belly until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the pork from the pan and set aside.

Add the sliced onion, carrot, and potato to the pan and cook until they start to brown, about 5 minutes.
