Saudi Arabian Midnight Omelette
A traditional Saudi Arabian omelette filled with melted cheese and a hint of spice, perfect for a midnight craving.
Ingredients
- β4 Eggs
- β2 tbsp Whipping Cream
- β1 tsp Ghee or Vegetable Oil
- β1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- β1/2 cup Grated Cheese
- β1/4 cup Chopped Scallions
- βto taste Salt and Black Pepper
- β1/2 tsp Cumin
- β1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Instructions

Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them together with a fork.

Add the whipping cream, salt, black pepper, cumin, and cayenne pepper to the bowl and mix well.

Heat the ghee or vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Add the breadcrumbs to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, until lightly toasted.

Pour the egg mixture over the breadcrumbs and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the edges start to set.

Add the grated cheese and chopped scallions to the pan and fold the omelette in half.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
