Golden Canadian Cheese Casserole
A French-inspired casserole filled with golden cheese and tender Canadian cheese, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
- β1 block, 16 oz Canadian cheesecut into small pieces
- β1 cup, shredded Golden cheeseany melty cheese will work
- β1/2 cup, shredded Melty cheeseadditional for topping
- β2 tablespoons Buttermelted
- β2 tablespoons All-purpose flourfor thickening
- β1 cup Milkwhole milk or any other milk
- β1 teaspoon Saltto taste
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepperto taste
- β1 tablespoon, chopped Fresh parsleyfor garnish

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the Canadian cheese in a pan over medium heat until browned and melted, stirring occasionally.

In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the all-purpose flour and whisk to combine, cooking for 1-2 minutes.

Slowly pour in the milk, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until thickened.

Stir in the shredded Golden cheese until melted and smooth.
