Slovakian Pumpkin Dumplings
A traditional Slovakian recipe featuring pumpkin dumplings with a mellow mustardy sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 small Pumpkinpeeled and diced
- β4-6 Slovakian Dumplingshomemade or store-bought
- β1 cup Mellow Mustardy Saucesee below for recipe
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oilfor frying
- βto taste Salt

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Carefully add the dumplings to the boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface.

Remove the dumplings from the water with a slotted spoon and drain off any excess water.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the diced pumpkin to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender.

Add the mellow mustardy sauce to the skillet and stir to combine.

Add the cooked dumplings to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.

Season with salt to taste.
