Slovakian Takrai Chicken Tacos
A twist on traditional Mexican tacos, this recipe combines the flavors of Slovakia and Thailand with the classic Mexican dish.
Ingredients

- β2 stalks lemongrasschopped
- β2 tablespoons takrai
- β1 tablespoon slovakian paprika
- β1 large massive onionschopped
- β1 bowlfor serving
- β1 teaspoon cumin
- β1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- β1/2 teaspoon salt
- β1/4 teaspoon pepper
- β8-10 tortillas
- β1 cup shredded cheese
- β1 cup sour cream

In a large bowl, whisk together cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

Add the chicken to the bowl and toss to coat with the spice mixture.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Add the lemongrass and takrai to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the chopped onions to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
