Spicy Marinated Tofu Empanadas
A twist on traditional Thai street food, this recipe combines the crunch of empanadas with the spicy flavors of marinated tofu. Perfect for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) Marinated Tofu
- β1 package (12-15 empanadas) Argentinian Empanada DoughPre-made empanada dough for convenience
- β2 tbsp Pungent Thai Chili Paste
- β1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- β1 tsp Soy Sauce
- β1 tsp Honey
- β1 tsp Sesame Seeds
- β1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out empanada dough to desired thickness.

Cut out circles of dough for empanadas.

Place a small amount of marinated tofu in the center of each dough circle.

Fold dough over filling and press edges to seal.

Brush tops with vegetable oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Place empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
