Beef Flank Steak Tadka
A flavorful and spicy Indian-inspired dish made with marinated beef flank steak, cooked in a rich tadka sauce.
Ingredients
- β500g beef flank steakthinly sliced
- β2 tbsp canadian oilfor cooking
- β1 tsp flaky sea saltfor seasoning
- β1 tsp malty black pepperfreshly ground
- β2 tbsp burger steak saucefor marinade
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 inches gingergrated
- β1 tsp cuminground
- β1 tsp corianderground

In a large bowl, whisk together the burger steak sauce, garlic, ginger, cumin, and coriander. Add the thinly sliced beef flank steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of the canadians oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Add the beef to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.

Transfer the beef to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the flaky sea salt and malty black pepper, and cook for 1 minute.

Add the grated ginger and cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir to coat with the tadka sauce.

Serve the beef hot, garnished with chopped cilantro or scallions, if desired.
