Tandoori Prawn Skewers
A classic Indian-inspired dish featuring succulent prawns marinated in yogurt and spices, then grilled to perfection on skewers.
Ingredients
- β12 prawnslarge, peeled and deveined
- β1 cup yogurtplain, full-fat
- β2 tbsp lemon juice
- β2 tbsp ghee or vegetable oil
- β1 tsp garam masala
- β1 tsp cumin powder
- β1 tsp coriander powder
- β1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- β1 tsp salt
- β1/4 cup chopped cilantro

1. In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, ghee or oil, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.

2. Add the prawns to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

4. Thread the marinated prawns onto skewers, leaving a little space between each prawn.

5. Brush the grill with oil to prevent sticking.

6. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the prawns are cooked through and slightly charred.
